
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois, Paul S. Johnson attended The John Marshall Law School, during which time, he had the privilege to intern with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Also, he was a member of the executive board for The John Marshall Law Review. Mr. Johnson graduated from law school a four time dean’s list member and with academic honors. Also, he received the CALI award for excellence in the area of commercial law.
Today, Mr. Johnson is an associate at Johnson & Johnson, Ltd. As an associate, he has handled cases in the circuit and appellate courts of both Cook and Will Counties. He practices both civil and criminal law with a focus in family law. Also, Mr. Johnson is a volunteer with CARPLS, which is an innovative legal aid service that offers an immediate response to the every day legal problems confronting low income residents of Cook County. As a volunteer with CARPLS, Mr. Johnson responds to a wide range of of civil legal problems including issues concerning housing, employment, education, consumer debt, divorce, guardianships, estates, injuries to person or property, public benefits, health care and more.
